Clarence Edwin "Nick" Nichols was born April 10, 1927 and died on January 17, 2019.
A graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm on Sunday, January 20, 2019 in the Oak Hill section at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs with Mr. Bill Carr officiating.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Henry Nichols and Willie Lou Nichols Yates and his beloved wife, Katherine Dearmond "Katie" Nichols.
He is survived by his cousins, Charlotte (Gary) White of Bartlett, TN, Fred (Mona) Callahan of Auburn, AL and Marie (Bob) Slaughter of Camp Hill, AL; their children, Randy (Susan) White of Lakeland, TN, Scott (Mary) White of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Brad (Katie) Callahan of Lilburn, GA, Brooke (Rob) Beddingfield of Opelika, AL and Dianne (David) Reeder of Camp Hill, AL.
Nick is also survived by a "Large Family" of Atlanta area friends who cared for him and provided transportation after he lost his eyesight.
Nick was a "people person" and enjoyed meeting and getting to know folks from all walks of life. It was hard to beat him to the check if you ever shared a meal out with him. He loved owning, restoring, buying and selling vintage cars and parts. He and Katie traveled extensively attending old car shows and meetings.
Nick spent his business career in the food brokerage business as a Mfg. Sales Rep. and as owner of Nichols and Co. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was blessed by the excellent care he received from the Atlanta VA Hospital and his Tele health nurses. He was a member of Shallowford Presbyterian Church.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 - 2:00 pm at Bill Head Funeral Homes and Crematory, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel, (770) 564-2726.
