Sunday, March 18, 2018, our Lord and Savior called home the sweetest father and husband, Frederick George Schiesser, age 71, of Norcross, to be with Him in everlasting life.
Frederick had put up the most valiant fight against bladder cancer these last four years and we are all proud of him for that. He truly fought the good fight.
A native of Baltimore, MD, he was a graduate of Georgia Tech with an engineering degree, was retired from Lucent Technologies as a Quality Engineer and was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Lilburn. He was preceded in death by his son, Adam Christopher Schiesser.
Survivors inlcude his loving wife of 48 years, Cici Schiesser of Norcross; sons and daughter-in-law, Brian & Kristy Schiesser of Covington, Keith Schiesser of Lawrenceville, John Schiesser and Tim Schiesser, both of Norcross; granddaughters, Abigayle and Anna-Beth Schiesser; sister and brother-in-law, Ellen and Ed Krannebitter of Pennsylvania; brother and sister-in-law, Ed and Mickey Schiesser of Virginia; sisters-in-law, Fran Lorenz of Missouri, Ethel Milone of Maryland and Sharon Lanois of Missouri; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Donald and Mary Ann Lanois of Suwanee and Jerry and Marie Olson of Ohio; many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be said at 11:00 am on Friday, March 23, 2018 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Lilburn.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Bill Head Funeral Homes and Crematory, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel, (770) 564-2726.
