Myrtle A. Lamb, originally from Oregon, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2018 in the presence of her 4 daughters.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 am on Monday, February 19, 2018 at Norcross First United Methodist Church with Rev. Anna Kate Rawles officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 - 11:30 am.
Mrs. Lamb was a teacher and a gifted artist, pianist and organist. She also enjoyed her roles as a full-time pastor/Army chaplain's wife with her late husband of 65 years, Lt. Col. Chaplain Eugene Lamb, U.S. Army, Ret. and as a beloved mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Susan Lamb, Penny Lamb-Atkins and Lamar, Genie Rawles and Scott, Betsy Reynolds and Bob; 6 grandchidlren, Lisa Clingempeel (Chris), Sara Miller (Brandon), Rev. Anna Kate Rawles (Brian), Andrew Rawles, Kimberlee Reynolds and Eric Reynolds; 7 great grandchildren, Christian, Aliya, Camren, Amaya, Aubrey, Ayla and Zachery.
The family would like to offer special thanks to Mrs. Lamb's personal caregiver, Peggy Horton, and to the staff of Agape Hospice.
