Jeanne was born in Charleston, WV and lived there until the age of ten. She moved to Sarasota, FL and later to Atlanta where she met her husband Chris. She attended Rollins University and obtained her Bachelor’s in History. Later, she received a Master’s degree in City Planning at Clemson University. After finishing her education, Jeanne enjoyed a successful career as a city planner in both Florida and Georgia. However, her most treasured career was being a mother to her sons Leo and Vincent.
Throughout her lifetime, Jeanne touched the lives of many people. Her friendships were long-lasting, and she valued each and every one of them regardless of time or distance. Whether through email, telephone, or getaways, she made every effort to remain in meaningful contact. Above all, Jeanne’s faith in God was the foundation of her ability to live life to the fullest and bring joy to all those around her. She is now our angel guiding us as we move on without her.
She is survived by her husband, Chris Hill; sons, Leo Hill and Vincent Hill, all of Suwanee; mother, Joann Desrosiers of Sarasota, FL; sisters, Jacqueline Russell, Caroline Daher and Danielle Gladding; brothers, John Desrosiers (Wendy) and David Desrosiers (Shivan) and her best friend of 50 years, Becki Jo Sowers. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
Jeanne was passionate about giving to Crossroads Foundation, Inc. at 1410 Edwards Mill Rd. Ball Ground, GA 30107 (www.crossroadsfoundation.net) as well as St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org)
