Bill Head Funeral Home began in 1990 with the purchase of the Duluth Chapel. The Lilburn/Tucker Chapel was completed and opened in 1992. We are a family owned business operated by the 2nd and 3rd generations of the Head Family. We are proud to have a very long tenured staff, some for as many as 30 years.  

We provide a continuity of service, much like conceirge services.  From the time you have your first ineterraction with us at the arrangement conference to the day you receive your loved one's final documents, you have one person taking care of your loved one and your family. Our staff goes above and beyond to ensure that everything is done to remeber your loved one as you and they would want.  Making sure everything done is seamlessly and with excellence is our goal. 


Each facility has a chapel that accommodates approximately 250 people. Appropriate interior appointments and exterior landscaping offer a serene setting. both locations are modern facilities with spacious visitation rooms and are fully handicapped accessible.  Ample parking is availble at both locations. Our crematory is located in a separate facility approximately 2 miles from the Lilburn/Tucker Chapel.
